In this video, Professor Mathew Diamond, Deputy Director of the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) and Director of the Laboratory of Tactile Perception and Learning, offers a reflection on reasoning, consciousness, memory and feelings. The nervous system, formed by organs whose function is to collect stimuli from the outside and the inside of the body, is able to evaluate, compare, store and ultimately develop an appropriate response, by regulating the activity of all the other systems.
