Developing global leaders

Guiding and implementing our strategy requires strong leadership capabilities. Our future leaders must guide the organisation to transformation, have a global mentality and be an example with behavior for becoming the Lifetime Partner for our customers. We stimulate sharing and local cascading for the Group strategy and we support the development of leaders and global and global talents with personalized training courses, in collaboration with the major business schools in the world.

We also commit to building the next generation of women leaders and ensuring their presence in senior roles. This is a strategic objective for Generali: in 2015 we have developed and delivered mentoring and training programmes for talented women with high potential as part of our commitment to recognising our people for their talent, not their gender.
 

Managerial Acceleration Program

Our goal is to equip Generali people managers with the mindset, skills and tools to effectively lead their people in today’s dynamic work environment.

The Managerial Acceleration Program (MAP), launched in 2017, was developed to increase the empowerment and involvement of managers in the cultural change within the Group. Thanks to this program, Group Academy has identified the eight managerial skills aimed at empowering our people and defined the Generali Empowerment Manifesto (GEM).

The third edition of the Managerial Acceleration Program will take the more than 8,000 Generali people managers on an innovative development journey, structured in several modules activated throughout 2024-2025. MAP FORWARD will empower people managers to embrace emerging trends and drive strategic growth while nurturing people and innovation.
