MSCI ESG and MSCI SELECTION INDICES
In October 2025, and later in March 2026, Generali confirmed its rating of AAA, the highest possible, in the MSCI ESG Ratings assessment*.
Generali continues to be constituent of MSCI Selection indices, which includes companies with the highest ESG performance (environmental, social and governance), in the sectors represented.

S&P GLOBAL and DOW JONES BEST-IN-CLASS INDICES
Assicurazioni Generali is included in 2026 S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook in the Top 10% distinction category in Insurance industry. The distinction reflects our company’s relative performance in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) and is based on our 2025 CSA Score of 85/100, as of 11 February 2026.
In December 2024* Generali was included in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index and in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Europe Index.
* Next rebalancing will take place on 23rd April 2026.
CDP
In December 2025, Generali has been awarded a A- rating for climate change based on data disclosed through CDP’s questionnaire*.

ISS ESG
In 2025 Generali was rated B- with “Prime”* status by ISS ESG Corporate Rating, awarded to companies with a reading sustainability performance in their sector.

FTSE RUSSELL and FTSE4Good
In 2025, Generali received a score of 4.3/5 in the 2025 FTSE Russell ESG Rating and, since 2011, is included in the FTSE4Good Index Series.
ECOVADIS
In 2025, Generali is awarded Silver medal by Ecovadis, based on a Sustainability rating of 70/100.
EURONEXT and MIB INDICES
Assicurazioni Generali is included in the Euronext Eurozone ESG Leaders 40 index, which is composed of the top 40 stocks, based on their Morningstar Sustainalytics ESG performance, out of the 75 Largest stocks in terms of free float market capitalisation in the main European markets.
Likewise, Generali is part of the MIB ESG index, which ranks the top 40 Italian listed companies based on ESG criteria sourced from Morningstar Sustainalytics.
STOXX INDICES
Since September 2012, Generali has been included in STOXX®Global ESG Leaders indices and is a member of other ESG indices such as STOXX Global Environmental Leaders and iSTOXX Global ESG Select 100.
Companies included in the STOXX® Global ESG Leaders are selected, according to best-in-class criteria, based on sustainability rating assigned by Sustainalytics with reference to the main performance indicators.
