Assicurazioni Generali won at the 2018 Business International Finance Awards

Assicurazioni Generali was awarded the Business International Finance Awards 2018 in the category Financial Reporting, Integrated Reporting, Non Financial Informational.

 

The recognition shows the commitment of Generali to Integrated Reporting topic, which has enabled Generali to be in line with international best practices. Through the Annual Integrated Report, Generali was able to talk about its ability to create value by providing both financial and non-financial material information in accordance with the new European directive on non-financial information disclosure.

 

This new modality has led to the decision to no longer draft the Sustainability Report with the aim of streamlining the Group's reporting.

 

The award was withdrawn by Massimo Romano, Head of Integrating Reporting of Generali Group, who added, “The integrated report makes us to think and work in an integrated way, on the basis of the interaction between departments. Defining and implementing a common reporting approach allows us to communicate our strategy in an increasingly clear and efficient way, in compliance with the new legislation”.

The prize is dedicated to innovations in the fields of Administration, Finance and Control vis-à-vis administrative and financial processes; financial reporting, integrated reporting, financial communication, management control, finance and digital finance. At its third edition, the International Finance Awards was held during the CFO Summit, benchmark of the Italian CFO community to share ideas, best practices and success stories.
