Chase your passion as if it were the last bus of the night
I joined Europ Assistance in 2013, with a part-time position in the operations center in Rende, a job and a role that requires constant attention to the customer, active listening, empathy and always being ready to help those who need assistance.
At the same time I never abandoned my true passion for communication and Digital, and at the time I left after finishing my work shift I continued to work with different web agencies in Italy.
In 2018, a position as an Internal Communication Specialist opened in Europ Assistance's Milan office. I still remember well when I read the Job Posting on the intranet and I said to myself, "This is my chance, this is my future and I want to try it."
After a few weeks and a series of interviews in which I gave it my all, the news came that I had been selected for the role! Here was the first break with the past, a new city (Milan), a new role, new responsibilities and new colleagues. I was overjoyed and finally had the chance to realise and put into practice all that I had learned over the years and in my previous experiences.
Today, three years later, I live and work in Milan in the HR department with fantastic colleagues from whom I learn something new every day, and I feel as happy as when I received the good news that I had been selected for an important and strategic role for our company.
And all this has been possible thanks to Europ Assistance Italia, which has given me this opportunity, which I have made my own from day one and which I try to honour every day by always giving my best, with the same passion with which I chase the last bus of the night.

Insegui la tua passione come se fosse l’ultimo autobus della notte
Sono sempre stato una persona creativa e un appassionato di comunicazione digitale, ho sempre avuto la necessità di essere diverso, di osare e di non essere banale. Già dai tempi delle scuole e anche durante i miei studi per me essere creativo significava riuscire a produrre contenuti che nessuno aveva e per questo ho iniziato a usare programmi di editing da autodidatta.
Sono entrato in Europ Assistance nel 2013, con un part-time in centrale operativa a Rende, un lavoro e un ruolo che richiede una costante attenzione al cliente, ascolto attivo, empatia ed essere sempre pronto ad aiutare chi ha bisogno di assistenza.
Al tempo stesso non ho mai abbandonato la mia vera passione per la comunicazione e il Digital, e nel tempo che mi restava dopo aver concluso il mio turno di lavoro continuavo a lavorare con diverse web agency in Italia.
Nel 2018 nella sede milanese di Europ Assistance si apre una posizione come Internal Communication Specialist. Ricordo ancora bene quando ho letto il Job Posting sulla intranet e mi sono detto: “Questa è la mia occasione, questo è il mio futuro e voglio provarci”.
Dopo qualche settimana e dopo una serie di colloqui in cui avevo dato il massimo, arriva la notizia che ero stato selezionato per ricoprire quel ruolo! Ecco questo è stato il primo punto di rottura con il passato, mi attendevano una nuova città (Milano), un nuovo ruolo, nuove responsabilità e nuovi colleghi. Ero felicissimo e finalmente avevo la possibilità di realizzare e mettere in campo tutto quello che avevo imparato nel corso degli anni e nelle mie esperienze pregresse.
Oggi, a distanza di tre anni vivo e lavoro a Milano nella direzione HR con colleghi fantastici da cui ogni giorno imparo qualcosa di nuovo e sono felice come quando ho ricevuto la bella notizia di essere stato selezionato in un ruolo importante e strategico per la nostra azienda.
E tutto questo è stato possibile grazie ad Europ Assistance Italia, che mi ha dato questa opportunità che ho fatto mia fin dal primo giorno e che quotidianamente cerco di onorare al meglio dando sempre il massimo di me stesso, con la stessa passione con cui ho inseguito l’ultimo autobus della notte.
