A story that deserves all our CARE - A patient in Angola cut himself with an angle grinder.
At the time of the transfer, after the arrival of the medical plane team, the patient was very unstable and the medical team did not want to risk transporting him.
Thanks to the insistence of our doctors and the medical team from the air ambulance, the transfer was finally carried out because the patient's life depended on it, and if he had stayed in Angola, he would have hadno chance of survival..
Our attendants stayed through the night until the plane took off.
The patient made it to Johannesburg alive, recovered and returned to Portugal on his own two feet!

Cumprir a nossa Missão apesar das contrariedades - #deliveronthepromise
Uma história que mereceu toda o nosso CARE- Doente em Angola que se cortou com uma rebarbadora.
Foi evacuado por avião sanitário de Luanda para Joanesburgo; Na altura da transferência, após chegada da equipa de avião sanitário, o doente estava muito instável e equipa médica não queria arriscar transportar o Doente.
O transporte acabou por ser feito graças à insistência dos nosso médicos junto da equipe médica do avião sanitário, pois disso dependia a vida do Doente, já que se e ficasse em Angola não teria hipóteses de sobreviver.
Os nossos assistentes ficaram cá durante a noite a acompanhar até o avião levantar voo.
O Doente chegou com vida a Joanesburgo, recuperou e acabou por regressar a Portugal mais tarde pelos seu próprio pé!
