My name is Jean-Pierre Schmid. I joined  Fortuna/Generali Insurance in Zurich/Switzerland in 1995. I knew from day 1 that the Lion was based in Trieste – 688,2 km fare away from Zürich. In 2013 we all started to be really part of the One Company Generali Culture Transformation Journey - with common values and the same symbol for the Generali Lion and first regular cross country exchanges and meetings. What has been a revolution at the time has become the New Normal.

Being part of the global HR Community, sharing, learning and growing together every day with colleagues from different countries is a fantastic experience.  I do not feel any more the distance of 635km! Thanks to all of you for this great privilege! Happy Birthday dear Lion / Lioness!!
