Board of Directors approves amendments to the Articles of the Association

Milan – The Board of Directors of Assicurazioni Generali, chaired by Gabriele Galateri di Genola, has today approved amendments to the Articles of Association to align them with IVASS (the Institute for the Supervision of Insurance in Italy) regulation n° 38/2018 for aspects relating to composition of the Executive Committee.
Such amendments particularly envisage exclusion from the Executive Committee of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, who under the new regulation cannot have an executive role in insurance companies of a size similar to that of Assicurazioni Generali. It should be remembered that Generali has not appointed an Executive Committee since 2013.
The new wording of the Articles of Association will be subject to the necessary IVASS approval.
