In 2026, Pride Month marks a further step in Generali’s journey towards an increasingly broad and shared commitment at an international level. The Group is expanding its participation in international Pride celebrations, supporting LGBTQIA+ communities across multiple countries through public engagement in Pride events. At the same time, the Group is strengthening employee engagement and inclusion through internal initiatives such as its We PROUD employee community.

A growing presence across Pride Month celebrations

Generali continues to support Milano Pride – where it has been a sponsor since 2023 – and has also participated in Vienna Pride. Further celebrations are planned in Madrid, London, Cologne, Luxembourg, Bratislava, Enniskillen, Prague, and Paris, reflecting a shared commitment across the organisation.

This growing engagement reflects a commitment that has taken shape over time, built on tangible actions and active participation.

For Generali, supporting Pride means fostering workplaces where people feel welcome, respected, empowered and valued. Pride Month represents a moment that goes beyond individual events: it is a collective expression of identity and belonging, where communities come together to honour authenticity and embrace diversity.

The growing involvement of employees across Business Units and geographies further reinforces this approach, turning participation into a shared experience that connects people across the Group.

Pride Month at Generali: inclusion and engagement

Through its participation in Pride Month 2026, Generali reaffirms its commitment to promoting diversityequity, and inclusion (DEI), which play a key role in the Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence strategy.

In Generali, Pride is first of all about inclusion: it means creating a work environment in which everyone feels safe, comfortable, and free to be themselves. This enables people to be recognised for who they are, valued for their contributions, and empowered to fully express their potential in driving innovation and growth.

Pride Month also becomes an opportunity to reflect on progress made, acknowledge the challenges that remain, and reaffirm a shared commitment to equality and freedom of expression. It reinforces the idea that inclusion is built collectively, through everyday actions as well as moments of visibility such as Pride celebrations.

We PROUD, Generali’s Employee Resource Group dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community

At the same time, Pride is closely linked to the cultural transformation journey promoted by Generali together with the members and allies of We PROUD, the Group’s LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group (ERG).

We PROUD plays an essential role in fostering an inclusive workplace culture, helping raise awareness of the challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ employees and strengthening understanding of inclusion across the organisation.

We PROUD is a key driver of Generali’s LGBTQIA+ inclusion strategy, connecting employees and promoting awareness across the organisation.

Through initiatives and projects aligned with the Generali People Strategy “GPeople27 – People Powered Excellence”, the community contributes to removing cultural and behavioural barriers, while supporting meaningful dialogue on diversity, equity and inclusion.

Generali’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Generali is committed to embedding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the way it works and operates every day. DEI represents a fundamental pillar of the Group’s cultural transformation, contributing to the creation of sustainable value for people and communities.

With the support of engaged leadership, an international network of champions and structured mechanisms to monitor progress, Generali continues to promote fair and meritocratic processes, ensuring equal opportunities for all employees.

This ongoing commitment reflects a broader vision: building an environment where individuals can fully express their potential and where diversity is recognised as a driver of innovation and long-term success.
