Strong leadership is key to creating sustainable performance. At Generali, we place strong emphasis on the continuous development of our People Managers, equipping them with the skills, mindset, and confidence to lead teams in a complex and rapidly evolving environment.

More than 9,500 People Managers across the Group have taken part in our global managerial development programmes over the years, reflecting our long-term commitment to learning and growth. Building on earlier initiatives such as MAP and MAP2TheNew, our MAP FORWARD programme supports managers in bringing Generali’s strategy to life.

These initiatives encourage leaders to act as role models of Excellence, empowering teams, fostering innovation, and embracing new technologies, data, and artificial intelligence, while maintaining a strong human-centric leadership approach. They are built to support managers in translating strategic priorities into everyday actions, developing talent, leading change with confidence, and building inclusive, high-performing teams.
 

Leadership Training

Generali invests in leadership development initiatives that strengthen effectiveness, self-awareness, and the ability to inspire others.

Over the years, several initiatives have been launched to support Leaders’ development:

  • Leadership Program
    A customised immersive programme developed with leading business schools. Through lectures, company visits, and interactive sessions, participants explore evolving macroeconomic challenges and key strategic topics such as Generative AI, sustainability, and human-centric leadership.
  • Executive Coaching
    Individual coaching sessions designed to support leaders in addressing specific challenges, strengthening self-awareness, and enhancing communication and executive presence.
  • Copilot and GenAI Adoption Training
    Hands-on training on Microsoft Copilot M365 that provides an overview of Generali’s AI strategy and helps leaders develop a prompt mindset while exploring practical use cases for Generative AI.
