My name is Svetlana Ivanišević, I am from Serbia, from Novi Sad. After graduating from the university, I had difficulties in finding a job, in spite of the numerous recommendations from the professors of the faculty, various certificates about the passed levels of English and programming languages, and the cover letter, which I wrote in free form with a lot of emotions, which were permeated by the failure to find a job.

In December 2006, I sent my CV to Generali, along with this letter and other documents, at a time when there was no open competition for recruitment. In January 2007, I was invited to an interview. When I went to the test, I noticed that I was on the list of candidates under number 13, which is my mother's date of birth, and I thought that was a good sign. That's how it was. The tests are, in addition to being extremely well thought out, detailed and varied, like no other test I have taken before. And I still remember all the details of that test, the room we were in, the people who tested us, and the tests themselves. I sincerely hope that such a knowledge test is still used in the first round of tests to join our company, because in my opinion they are really professional. After passing these tests, I was invited to the next round of interviews. Of the four of us invited, I was the only female, and I thought this was a sign. I was right.

I was accepted for the position of Casco Insurance Sales Agent. Overjoyed that I had the opportunity to work in one of the leading and established companies, I was eager to prove myself and justify the work that awaited me. My work experience wasn't great at the time, but I learned quickly. Serious, responsible and with a high degree of self-discipline, I made a good first impression as a new member of our team. I love working in a collective because I believe that no matter how much knowledge an individual has, if there is no exchange of ideas, there will be no success.

My improvement in our company is going upwards. The company works on this through many affordable trainings as well as employees themselves who are motivated and eager to improve and constantly learn new skills that help us achieve our goals. As a result of my correct and open way of working, both internally and externally, I have received praise in my name which has been like a wind at my back to do my job well and continue what is necessary for all of us in any type of business. For me, the compliments you get from older colleagues who have been in the business for a long time are an incentive to be even better. Here's a quote that says it all:

As a manager, I have the opportunity to show myself in April 2018. I can honestly say that this role suits me well. My successes in establishing cooperation became completely normal after the first meeting. I like to make a good first impression at the meeting, with our code of conduct and the dress code that Generali prescribes, in terms of how much we care for and respect our partners and colleagues. In addition, the way we talk in these meetings is easier because Generali is a popular insurance company in our area, with good business results both in terms of sales and claims payments for all types of insurance. It's a great way to talk to potential and future partners. After my first 15 years with Generali Insurance, I still see myself in this company. Always ready for new challenges and goals, with a certain energy and desire to achieve them.

Moje ime je, Svetlana Ivanišević, dolazim iz Srbije, iz Novog Sada. Po završetku fakulteta, imala sam poteškoće oko zapošljavanja, i pored mnoštva preporuka koje sam dobila od profesora sa fakulteta, raznih sertifikata o položenim nivoima engleskog i programskih jezika do propratnog pisma, koje sam napisala u slobodnoj formi sa dosta emocija koja su bila prožimana neuspehom u pronalaženju zaposlenja.

U decembru 2006. godine svoj cv sa tim pismom i ostalom dokumetacijom sam poslala u Generali, u tom momentu bez otvorenog konkursa za primanje u radni odnos. Januara 2007. godina sam već bila pozvana na testiranje. Dolaskom na tu proveru, uočim da sam bila na spisku kandidata pod rednim brojem 13, a to je datum rodjenja moje mame, i pomislim ovo je dobar znak. Tako je bilo. Testovi su, pored toga što su bili, kao ni na jednom testiranju na kom sam bila do tada, izuzetno koncipirani, detaljni i raznovrsni. A ja se i danas sećam svih pojedinosti tog testiranja, od prostora u kome smo bili, osoba koje su nas testirale i samih testova. Iskreno se nadam da se i dalje primenjuje takva provera znanja u prvom krugu testiranja za ulazak u našu kompaniju, jer su zaista po meni profesionalni. Prolaskom ovih testova pozvana sam u sledeći krug razgovora za posao. Od nas četvoro pozvanih bila sam jedina ženska osoba i ponovo sam pomislila da je to neki znak. Bila sam u pravu.

Primljena sam baš ja za poziciju Agenta prodaje kasko osiguranja. Presrećna, jer sam dobila priliku da radim u jednoj od vodećih i uređenih kompanija, pojavila mi se velika želja za dokazivanjem i opravdanjem rada na poslovima koji su me čekali. Moje radno iskustvo, u tom momentu nije bilo veliko, ali sam učila brzo. Ozbiljna, odgovorna i neko ko poseduje visok stepen samodiscipline vodilo je ka dobrim prvim utiscima o meni kao novozaposlenom članu našeg tima. Volim rad u koletivu, jer smatram da ma kakvo znanje pojedinac imao ako nema prožimanja ideja, nema ni uspeha.

Moje usavršavanje u našoj kompaniji ide uzlaznom putanjom. Na tome radi kompanija kroz mnoge pristupačne obuke kao i sami zaposleni koji su motivisani i željni usavršavanja i stalnog učenja novih veština koje nam pomažu u dostizanju ciljeva. Kao rezultat mog korektnog i otvorenog načina rada, kako sa internim tako i sa eksternim kanalima prodaje, stizale su pohvale na moje ime koje su mi bile kao vetar u leđa da svoj posao radim dobro i da tako nastavim što je potrebno svima nama u bilo kojoj vrsti poslovanja. Za mene su, pohvale koje dobijete od starijih kolega, koje imaju dug staž u ovom poslu, znače podstrek da budete još bolji. Evo jednog citata koji govori o tome:

Kao menadžer dobijam mogućnost da se pokažem aprila 2018. godine. Skromno, ali istinito mogu da kažem da mi lepo pristaje ova uloga. Moji uspesi o uspostavljanju saradnje, već posle prvog sastanka, su postali potpuno normalni. Volim, da sa našim kodeksom ponašanja i oblačenja koje Generali propisuje, ostavim dobar prvi utisak na sastanku, u smislu koliko vodimo računa i poštovanja prema saradnicima i kolegama. Nadalje, način vođenja razgovora na tim sastancima su olakšani, jer Generali je omiljena osiguravajuća kuća na našem području sa dobrim rezultatima poslovanja kako u prodaji tako i u sferama isplate šteta po svim vrstama osiguranja. Pa je nama to odličan adut u vođenju razgovora sa potencijalnim i budućim saradnicima. Nakon prvih petnaest godina u Generali Osiguranju sebe i dalje vidim u ovoj kompaniji. Spremna uvek za nove izazove i ciljeve sa određenom energijom i željom za ostvarivanjem istih.
