Generali approves the merger by incorporation of Alleanza Assicurazioni into Generali Italia

Milan – Generali announces that it has approved the merger by incorporation of Alleanza Assicurazioni S.p.A. into Generali Italia S.p.A. (“Country Italy”).

This merger is in continuity with the strategic journey of rationalisation of Country Italy pursued in recent years and it further demonstrates the Group’s strong integration capabilities, which have generated growth and value for all stakeholders.

The transaction is structured in a way that ensures the preservation of the brand, the identity and the distribution network of Alleanza.

The completion of the merger is expected by the first half of 2027, subject to the necessary authorisations from IVASS and the completion of all associated legal requirements.
