An innovative video guide system will allow visitors to discover the cultural heritage of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini on the island of San Giorgio in Venice

Thanks to Generali, it will be possible to visit the magnificent monumental complex of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini on the island of San Giorgio in Venice every day, beginning from 1 March.

In addition, a new video guide system with touch technology will accompany visitors, allowing them to learn more about this historic, artistic, and architectural treasure.

Simone Bemporad, Generali Group Director of Communications and Public Affairs, comments, “This project represents another tile in the mosaic of activities launched by Generali to support the conservation and promotion of Venice’s cultural heritage. In addition to the reopening of Palazzo Cini in San Vio, restoration works have begun on the Procuratie Vecchie and Giardini Reali as part of our larger project, “The Human Safety Net”, which aims to encourage the expanded use of precious assets of exceptional cultural value.
I would also like to emphasise that this represents yet another collaboration with the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, with which we have developed a successful and long-lasting bond, the result of a shared feeling arising from the same profound need to care for the precious legacy that has been entrusted to us
”.

Generali has supported the Fondazione Giorgio Cini for many years, having a common commitment to accessing and promoting culture.

In Venice, a city that perfectly expresses the Group’s international and multicultural vision, Generali has supported the reopening to the public of Palazzo Cini in San Vio since 2014, with the aim of sharing a unique artistic heritage.
Today, the Company is involved in the restoration of the Procuratie Vecchie, heart and home of the new “The Human Safety Net” project, and the Giardini Reali, to encourage the expanded use of precious assets of exceptional cultural value.
