Resignation of Vincent Bolloré

Trieste - Assicurazioni Generali said that Vincent Bolloré had today presented his resignation as a member and Vice-Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, on the grounds of the commitments due to his recent appointments in France.

The Board of Directors wishes to thank Vincent Bolloré for his effective contribution to the Company.

In accordance with stock exchange regulations, the company said that Vincent Bolloré was an independent director under the terms of the Consolidated Finance Act and non-independent under the terms of the Self-Regulatory Code of Conduct of Listed Companies. He was a non-executive director and a member of the Appointments and Corporate Governance Committee. Mr. Bolloré holds indirectly 2,028,352 Generali shares, corresponding to 0.13% of the share capital.
