Philippe Donnet joins the Generali Group Management Committee He will be the new CEO of Generali ltalia

Trieste – Effective from October, Philippe Donnet will join the Generali Group Management Committee with responsibility over the Group’s Italian operations. Mr Donnet will be the new CEO of Generali Italia.

Donnet, 53, graduated from Institut des Actuaires francais and Ecole Polytechnique of Paris and has extensive international experience both in the insurance industry and as an entrepreneur. Over his career, he led important reorganization processes at insurance companies in Italy, France and Asia and acquired relevant competencies in the corporate and reinsurance businesses.

The current CEO of Generali Italia, Raffaele Agrusti, will step down from his operational role on September 30 and will leave the Group at the end of the year to facilitate the management change as the reorganization of Generali's Italian operations progresses.
