Covid-19: Europ Assistance and Generali offer phone assistance for employees
The initiative involves 20,000 people and is part of the plan #InsiemeGeneriamoFiducia (Let's Build Trust Together), the set of initiatives and actions developed by Generali with its stakeholders - customers, employees, agents, suppliers, institutions and communities - to deal with the Covid-19 emergency.
Europ Assistance and Generali have activated a phone assistance service for all Group employees and agents in Italy to provide information on the guidelines in place for Covid-19 at the Group’s companies as well as to offer certified medical information and assessment in case of flu-like symptoms.
The initiative is also extended to the employees’ family members; it stems from Generali’s desire to protect the health of its customers and employees and was implemented by Europ Assistance, one of the Group’s companies that, for more than 50 years, has been assisting people even in emergency situations.
Through a dedicated, toll-free phone number, all Group employees and agents – including those of Europ Assistance – in Italy will be able to inquire about who to contact in case of necessity and receive certified medical information on how to prevent the infection from spreading. In case of symptoms related to Coronavirus, employees, agents and their families can receive a medical assessment (triage) to determine whether they might have been infected with the virus.
In addition to these services, it is possible to request a remote consultation for psychological support.
