Generali confirmed among the most transparent companies in digital communication
The Group is in the European Top 10 of Webranking and was recognized as “Top performer” among European companies in providing governance-related information as well as in sustainability disclosure.
Generali was confirmed in the Top 10 of Webranking, the survey that evaluates the digital communication performance of leading European businesses, drafted by Lundquist in collaboration with the Swedish company Comprend. With a score of 85.7 out of 100, the Group stands out among the most transparent companies in Europe and has ranked second in the insurance industry category.
The research recognises Generali’s ability to effectively present the Group and the transparency demonstrated in the presentation and reporting of governance-related issues as well as in the disclosure of sustainability information.
The Webranking review, now in its twenty-sixth edition, is the main survey that assesses the transparency of corporate and financial digital communication of major listed companies in Europe. This year, the Italian sample included 30 companies, while at European level the largest 500 companies by capitalisation were considered.
