Generali once again among the World’s Top Companies for Women
Forbes has once again recognised Generali as one of the World’s Top Companies for Women 2025, ranking first among Italian companies and reaffirming the Group’s ongoing commitment to equality, inclusion, and female empowerment in the workplace
Generali has been included once again by Forbes in the World’s Top Companies for Women 2025 list, the annual ranking that celebrates organisations leading the way in gender equality and inclusion.
The Group ranked first among Italian companies. The recognition confirms Generali’s strong reputation as an employer that promotes equal opportunities and supports women’s career growth through flexible work models, professional development programmes, and a people-centred culture.
The Forbes ranking, developed in collaboration with Statista, is based on a global survey of around 120,000 women employed by multinational companies across more than 35 countries. Participants evaluated their employers on workplace culture, equal pay, career advancement, and management of discrimination cases.
A culture of inclusion and responsibility
As part of its People Strategy “GPeople27 – People Powered Excellence”, Generali continues to invest in diversity, equity, and inclusion to create a more inclusive, flexible, and sustainable workplace. The Group’s approach combines professional growth opportunities with wellbeing initiatives that empower people to reach their full potential.
Moreover, since 2020, the Group has been actively working to close the Equal Pay Gap (the pay gap between men and women performing the same work or work of equal value), which stood at just 0.35% at the end of 2024 – a clear sign of continuous progress toward true equality.
Empowering People, Driving Excellence
Gender equality and empowerment are central to Generali’s purpose of enabling people to shape a safer and more sustainable future. As the Group moves forward under its Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence strategy, the focus remains on nurturing diverse talent, fostering inclusion, and ensuring that every individual, regardless of gender, can thrive, lead, and make a positive impact.
Generali’s recognition by Forbes is not only an achievement but also a reaffirmation of its ongoing commitment: to build a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute to shared success, enabling its people to thrive through a culture of excellence, meritocracy, and diversity.
