Generali honoured at the Qorus Innovation in Insurance Awards 2024

The Group was awarded one gold and one silver: a new achievement in Generali’s innovation journey sees the Company continuing to position itself at the frontier of innovation

For the fourth year in a row, Generali innovation projects have been shortlisted as finalists in the Qorus Innovation in Insurance Awards, the competition that showcases the most outstanding innovations in the industry.

The Group ranked as follows in two categories:

  • First place in the Social, Sustainable & Responsible category for “Generali Protect Me”, an extreme weather app developed by Generali Deutschland and co-funded by the Generali Innovation Fund. Users get customized alerts through the app for their selected locations and driving routes, providing them with early warnings, real-time notifications, and preventive advice to tackle potential risks ahead of time.
  • Second place in the Workforce Transformation category for the Executive Master Programme “Futuro Agente”, a programme developed through collaborations with leading Italian Business Schools that provides Generali Agents with extensive business management training. It emphasizes developing entrepreneurial skills through a blend of in-person and online learning, providing a customized educational experience aimed at cultivating a future generation of professionals dedicated to Generali's vision.

The 2024 edition marks the fourth consecutive year that Generali has stood on the podium as recipients of the Qorus awards, celebrating the Group’s forward-thinking approach to innovation in insurance.

Generali has already been named Global Innovators twice in the past and has received a total of 16 Qorus awards since 2019.
