Steffi Vielmuth from Generali Deutschland AG
190 years of Generali, 24 of which I have been able to experience and help shape to this day.
These years have been so varied and have passed in flight until now. What is left? The familiar feeling like from the beginning. Work colleagues who became best friends. The charm of an Italian family that has always helped me to cope with all the challenges on my way. 190 years old, yet agile and innovative. Especially now, when the pandemic has made Generali even more of a caring employer. Last autumn, 200 new trainees started their training in the home office. Instead of the annual welcome party, I and my colleagues organized a virtual cooking event for 250 participants via MS teams. That was very exciting as it was our first virtual event. What can I say, the feedback was great and we had a lot of fun.
We like to try new things and are always supported by management due to the good ideas and concepts. It’s fun, especially when the expected success is achieved. Watch the video:-).

That’s what defines Generali for me. Trying out new things, leading them to success and having the backing of management for them. The familiar feeling, the human touch, makes me feel much more comfortable and simply have even more fun with the various topics.

That’s what makes it all, this human touch and I am very proud when I talk about my employer and I am happy that my work in HR Marketing also „redfluence“ those who do not know.
