Saturday, May 8, 2021, the weekend ride with the cycling club. 8.30 in the morning, everyone ready; safety optimized: helmet, rear lights and insurance card in the pocket (of course, Europ Assistance), the team has confirmed through several situations experienced that the best assistance company is ours.

We are ready to enjoy, today a guest joins us; it's "baptism"; long and difficult route and coffee invitation from him at mid-morning.

Laughter, stories, "piques,...and at coffee time; the guest approaches and asks me, do you work at Europ Assistance? Yes, why, I reply. I'm going to tell you about an experience I had with you ....


And... you expect the worst, that moment when for very justified reasons we did not give him the best possible service, or we could not even give him service because it was not included in the insurance and he was angry forever and ever,...or...you expect the worst

And he tells me the following: 40 years ago, on a motorcycle trip with friends to the North Cape, one of his friends in Norwich broke the wheel of his BMWR45; his Europ Assistance insurance. They call, a very friendly woman answers, not only takes the data, but also understands the mechanics of the BMW perfectly, gives suggestions for improvement, suggests how to get out of it and also confirms that they will receive a new wheel in a maximum of 48 hours. Disbelieving and disappointed at not being able to continue the journey they had been planning for months, they hoped without any real hope that these 48 hours would not turn into 48 days. To their surprise, the wheel arrives not in 48 hours but in 36. The wheel arrives in perfect condition; and 12 hours earlier than estimated in the conversation; 46 and a half days earlier than estimated in their minds.

Since then Europ Assistance is the assistance company that they, their families, and their friends use for all situations.

My pride of belonging soars; and I realize that "you live, we care" is not a promotional and marketing claim; it is a reality. Europ Assistance is the best assistance company.

Sábado 8 de mayo 2021, la salida del fin de semana con el club ciclista. 8.30 de la mañana, todos preparados; seguridad optimizada: casco, luces traseras y carnet del seguro en el bolsillo (por supuesto, de Europ Assistance), el equipo ha confirmado por varias situaciones vividas que la mejor compañía de asistencia es la nuestra.

Preparados para disfrutar, hoy se une un invitado; toca “bautismo”; ruta larga y difícil e invitación del café por su parte a media mañana.

Risas, historias, “piques,…y a la hora del café; el invitado se acerca y me pregunta ¿tú trabajas en Europ Assistance?. Sí, ¿por qué?, replico yo. Te voy a contar una experiencia que tuve con vosotros….

Y.. te esperas lo peor, ese momento en el que por causas justificadísimas no le dimos el mejor servicio posible, o ni siquiera pudimos darle servicio porque no estaba incluido en el seguro y se enfadó por siempre jamás,…o…te esperas lo peor.

Y me relata lo siguiente: hace 40 años, en un viaje de amigos en moto a Cabo Norte; a uno de sus amigos en Norwich se le rompe la rueda de su BMWR45; su seguro Europ Assistance. Llaman, contesta una mujer amabilísima, no solamente le coge los datos, si no que entiende a la perfección el mecanismo de la BMW, le aporta ideas de mejora, le sugiere como salir de allí y además le confirma que recibirá una nueva rueda en un tiempo máximo de 48 horas. Incrédulos, a la par de decepcionados por no poder seguir con el trayecto que llevaban planeando meses, confían sin albergar ninguna esperanza real que esas 48 horas no se conviertan en 48 días. Para su sorpresa, la rueda no tarda 48 horas en llegar, sino 36 horas. La rueda llega en perfectas condiciones;  y 12 horas antes de lo estimado en la conversación; 46 días y medio antes de lo estimado en su mente.

Desde entonces Europ Assistance es la compañía de asistencias que ellos, sus familias, y sus amigos usan para todas las situaciones.

Mi orgullo de pertenencia se dispara; y me doy cuenta que “you live, we care” no es un claim promocional y marketiniano; es una realidad. Europ Assistance es la mejor compañía de asistencias.
