Woody E. Bradford

Linwood (“Woody”) E. Bradford, CFA, is the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Generali Investments and a member of the Board. He was appointed to this role on June 1, 2024.

He also serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board at Conning, part of Generali Investments, where he joined in 2010.

Previously, Mr. Bradford was an Operating Partner with Advent International, a global private equity firm. Earlier in his career, he spent 12 years at Putnam Investments, holding multiple leadership roles including Head of Corporate Development and Chief Operating Officer of Global Distribution.

Mr. Bradford is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and of the Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar.

As part of his current responsibilities, he oversees and serves on many boards, including but not limited to Generali Investments Holding, Generali Asset Management SGR S.p.A., Conning Holdings Limited, Global Evolution Asset Management A/S, Infranity S.A.S, MGG Investment Group LP, Octagon Credit Investors, LLC, and a number of other affiliated and related entities.

Mr. Bradford is a member of the Board of Trustees at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and currently serves as Chair of the Investment Committee; he previously served as Vice Chair of WPI’s board. He is a member of The Greater Boston Food Bank Emeriti Board, where he formerly served as Chair of the Board. He previously served on the Supervisory Board of Quoniam Asset Management GmbH. Mr. Bradford has over 27 years of industry experience.
