David Cis

David Cis has been Group Chief Operating Officer and CEO and General Manager of Group Operating Service Platform since September 2022.
He has worked in Generali Group since 2014 where he held several roles over the years. From 2014 to 2016 David Cis was the Head of Generali Delivery Unit, then, from 2016 to 2022 he was Generali Italia Chief Operating Officer and from September 2022 he has been Group Chief Operating Officer and CEO and General Manager of Group Operating Service Platform.

After the graduation cum laude in Engineering from the University of Tor Vergata in Rome and the Master's degree in Business Administration from the Said Business School of Oxford University, he had more than 10 years of experience in advising the top management of financial institutions and private equity companies in different geographical areas. 
He worked for Mckinsey & Company where he helped some of the largest Italian companies in the insurance sector to define the strategies, the business plans and the business development. From 2012 to 2014, David Cis worked in the Group Operations Area of SwissRe based in Zurich.
