Cécile Paillard

Cécile Paillard has joined Generali in September 2024 as Group Chief Transformation Officer. Based in Milan, she is responsible for accelerating the Group’s transformation, driving the strategy execution towards greater digitalization across the organization and innovation in terms of customer experience and distribution networks.

Prior to joining Generali, Cécile was CEO Mediterranean, Middle East & Africa at Coface Group and a member of the Group Executive Committee. She has previously held leadership positions at AXA Group, most recently (2014-2017) as Chief Operating Officer of AXA Seguros Brazil & AXA Corporate Solutions LATAM, and before that as Chief Development Officer at AXA MedLA, Director of Group Strategic Planning, and Director of Strategic Audit. Cecile first joined AXA Group as a Senior Financial Analyst at AXA Investment Managers.

She started her career as a Private Equity Analyst at Banques Populaires before moving to Salustro Reydel as auditor and consultant.

Cécile holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the Institut Supérieur du Commerce de Paris (ISC) and a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering from the Ecole de Management in Lyon (Rhône).
