Generali supports To The Peak 2026 as Building Partner
Bringing together founders, investors and industry leaders in Bolzano, the event aims to foster entrepreneurship and collaboration across Europe.
Generali participated as a Building Partner in To The Peak 2026, the innovation summit held in Bolzano from 9 to 11 September, contributing to discussions on entrepreneurship, innovation, and the future of Europe's startup ecosystem.
Through its role as a Building Partner, Generali actively supports growth, innovation and investment in the Italian start-up ecosystem, helping it evolve towards an increasingly European and international dimension, with the aim of strengthening its competitiveness and its ability to generate value on a global scale.
Generali's participation reflects the Group's commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship. Through engagement with founders, investors, and industry leaders, Generali contributed to discussions on startup growth and emerging technologies, while supporting access to the expertise, partnerships, and opportunities that enable sustainable innovation across Europe.
Generali was represented by Danilo Raponi, Group Head of Innovation, and Giorgio Ripamonti, Innovation Scout and Venture Capital Manager. Their session examined the infrastructure behind AI, focusing on the growing importance of data centres, the risks associated with their expansion, and the role of insurance in helping businesses manage these evolving exposures while supporting innovation.
The event brought together key players from the European innovation ecosystem to discuss how startups can scale, attract investment and turn new technologies into sustainable growth.
Italy’s innovation ecosystem continues to demonstrate strong momentum, supported by high-quality research, world-class expertise, and a growing entrepreneurial culture. To further strengthen this progress, sustained investment in venture capital and policies that foster greater European integration will be essential.
A more connected and attractive ecosystem, supported by adequate funding, can help create the conditions for innovative companies to grow and compete successfully on the global stage.
Building on the legacy of Bolzano Slush'D, To The Peak brings together founders, investors and innovation leaders for three days of discussions, networking and startup-focused initiatives, creating a platform for collaboration and growth across Europe's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
