Carbon neutral travel

We have a long-standing agreement with the German railway operator Deutsche Bahn whereby all our employees’ trips by train are carbon neutral, by offsetting all emissions through eco-friendly initiatives. 

In recent years Generali has also signed agreements with Postal Service in Austria and Deutsche Post/DHL in Germany to neutralise the CO2 emissions associated with every package sent by purchasing certificates of investment in environmental initiatives.
