Generali for Positive Economy
Positive economy means serving future generations by fostering a sustainable and inclusive growth respecting both the environment and the people. Scientific research, innovation and technological development are fields where Generali pays attention and has a constant commitment in order to find solutions focused on protecting and enhancing people’s lives and the environment. For this reason, Generali took part at the third edition of the Positive Economy Forum in Rimini (Italy) organized by the community of San Patrignano - that welcomes all those afflicted by dependencies or social exclusion - and Positive Planet Foundation. The Forum is a place where company directors, NGO leaders, social entrepreneurs, thinkers, artists, idea-carrying citizens or innovating projects-developers share ideas, experiences, discussions and reflect on issues affecting the positive economy. Generali has been present at the round table “Positive technology: how technology can enhance environment, urbanization and people’s lives?” contributing to the debate and identifying actions that have a positive impact on people and future generations, helping them to increase health and well-being. Generali supports incubators, start-ups, institutions and scientific initiatives in training and education in order to benefit the community, thus promoting sharing and collaboration.
