Generali Compliance Week 2017
Generali Compliance Week is a global initiative of Generali Group aimed at raising awareness of the functions of Compliance Management System across the organization.
“Building Trust” was the key message that from 6th to 10th November Compliance teams across the world wanted to spread everyday providing tools and suggestions to protect customers and colleagues.
Each country of the Group chose a project that could give everyone the chance to learn more about what Compliance does.
A ‘Tone at the Top’ video message by Regional CEO Rob Leonardi launched Compliance Week in Asia by inviting everyone to engage with the Compliance teams and participate in the local campaigns carried out across the Region.
In Romania, the Local Compliance Officer wore a distinctive T-shirt proclaiming the message of the week: Don’t be afraid of being Different. This was to highlight that ‘thinking outside the box’ and having courage to stand out from the crowd is the key to finding innovative solutions to successfully combine business and compliance.
Furthermore, games and quizzes about the Compliance Management System were organized in Austria, Colombia, Hungary, Netherlands, Serbia, UK and Vietnam with fun incentives for participants and prizes for winners.
This initiative highlighted everyone’s individual and collective responsibility to use this structured approach in ensuring compliance and protecting the business on a daily basis, for the benefit of both company reputation and employees’ way of working.
