Generali ranked 18th in TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026 list

Generali was also the highest ranked company in Italy, highlighting the Group’s ability to combine growth, a people-centered culture and transparency in sustainability practices

Generali has been included in the TIME and Statista’s World’s Best Companies 2026 ranking, placing 18th globally. This achievement positions the Group among the world’s top 20 companies, ranking highest in Italy and among the leading insurance providers featured in the list.

The recognition reflects Generali’s ability to combine growth, innovation and long-term value creation through a sustainable business model focused on the needs of customers, employees, investors and communities. The Group continues to pursue its strategic objectives by placing people, responsibility and sustainability at the centre of its approach, recognising these as essential elements for navigating an increasingly dynamic global environment.

The World’s Best Companies 2026 ranking evaluates 1,000 companies worldwide based on three key criteria: employee satisfaction, revenue growth and transparency in sustainability practices. The assessment combines market data, ESG evaluations and the results of a large-scale international survey involving approximately 200,000 employees across more than 50 countries, together with financial and ESG data collected and analysed by Statista.

Generali’s inclusion among the world’s top 20 companies is particularly significant in a ranking that assesses organisations across a wide range of sectors and geographic regions. The achievement confirms the Group’s ability to deliver strong performance while continuing to invest in its people, innovation and a sustainable development model. An approach that continues to guide the execution of the Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence strategy.
