Generali partners with “Dream for Europe”: awards ceremony to be held in Rome on 8 May

Rome – On the occasion of Europe Day, Friday 8 May, the awards ceremony of “Dream for Europe – Hopes and Visions of Tomorrow’s Citizens” will take place in Rome. The creative contest is promoted by the Article 49 Foundation in collaboration with the European Parliament Liaison Office in Italy and is addressed to lower and upper secondary schools.

Generali is a partner of the initiative and will award the three winning classes with a total donation of 30 laptops (10 for each class), supporting education and access to digital skills for younger generations.

The ceremony, to be held at the Protomoteca Hall on the Capitoline Hill, marks the conclusion of the contest, which involved thousands of students in the creation of photographs and visual works expressing their visions, expectations and hopes for an increasingly united Europe.

The celebrations will then continue in Piazza del Campidoglio with an institutional ceremony attended by President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, European Commissioner Raffaele Fitto and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani, Vice-Presidents of the European Parliament Pina Picierno and Antonella Sberna, and the Mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri.

Through its participation in Dream for Europe, Generali renews its commitment to promoting education, European citizenship and youth empowerment, contributing to the construction of a more inclusive and sustainable future.
