Generali is a Top Employer in Europe in 2026
- Generali’s strategy and initiatives score above the benchmark in all key categories
- Furthermore, a total of 14 Group companies across 10 countries worldwide have received Top Employers Institute certification.
Milan – Generali has been recognised as a Top Employer in Europe in 2026 by the Top Employers Institute, the global certifying body for HR excellence, thanks to the strategies implemented to attract top talent, provide support for professional growth and skills development, and promote employee well-being through a hybrid work model and initiatives dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Furthermore, the certification was awarded to a total of 14 Group companies across 10 countries worldwide: Italy, France, Spain, Serbia, Hungary, Germany, Luxembourg, Brazil, Chile, and Portugal.
Monica Possa, Group Chief People & Organization Officer at Generali, commented: “The confirmation of the Top Employer certification, across several markets where we operate, highlights Generali’s strong ability to attract talent and support its people, the driving force behind our excellence. In the strategic plan ‘Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence’ our people are recognised as the engine of progress and sustainable growth for the Group. We will continue to promote our people-centred culture, investing in training, reinforcing our position as an ‘employer of choice’ and fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment that enables everyone to fully express their potential.”
Generali’s certification scores are significantly higher than the average scores of other companies — both globally, considering all industries, and specifically within the insurance sector.
The Top Employers Institute certification is awarded to companies that meet the highest standards required by the HR Best Practices Survey, which rigorously analyses multiple aspects of human resources management, including People Strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, diversity and inclusion, and well-being.
This achievement reflects the strength of Generali’s People Strategy, which aims to create an environment where everyone feels respected and valued, and that is empowered to take ownership of their development while actively contributing to the Group’s results.
