CityLife area safety fully secured following partial collapse of the Generali sign on Hadid Tower

Milan – A partial collapse of the Generali sign located at the top of the Hadid Tower within the Milan CityLife complex has occurred today.

The situation has been promptly managed with the collapsed signed immediately secured, without any damage to people or the surrounding structures.

As a precautionary measure and to protect public safety, Generali has cordoned off and fully secured also the surrounding area, including the CityLife Shopping District building.

All Generali headquarters staff are currently working remotely.

The possible causes of the accident are being assessed. Generali will continue to promptly provide all relevant updates.
