Coevolution via collaboration
The Partnership between Generali Italia and Banca Sella's assurbanking provides SME customers with a competitive opportunity
Following the pandemic crisis and current developments in the macroeconomic scenario, with rising inflation and more restrictive monetary policies, more and more businesses - especially small and medium-sized companies - find themselves in great need of financing.
That is why Generali Italia has engaged in the launch of an assurbanking pilot model dedicated to SME clients – a key focus of the Lifetime Partner 24: Driving Growth strategy - joining forces with Banca Sella, a renowned Italian banking business defined by a strong culture of innovation. The goal is to offer customers the ideal combination of banking and insurance services they need to navigate these challenging times.
The pilot project was launched in July 2022 after a rigorous selection process was carried out in order to identify an Italian bank with the best credit offer and readiness to develop a new ad hoc sales procedure. With agents at the centre of the customer relationship and a straightforward, digital process, short and long-term loans for up to six months are offered at a competitive rate, along with insurance and other benefits for B2B2B customers who purchase a minimum of one add-on.
Generali’s Lifetime Partner ambition underpins its strategy, offering its customers innovative, personalised solutions thanks to its best-in-class product offer and omnichannel experience, with 82% of its agents able to fully operate remotely and digitally enabled. Starting in 2018, Generali has been deepening its business relationship with customers, with the ambition to remain first choice in the Relationship Net Promoter Score (NPS) among its European international peers by the end of 2024.
