Generali appoints Emanuele Moneghini as Group Chief Audit Officer

Milan – Generali announces the appointment of Emanuele Moneghini as Group Chief Audit Officer, effective as of 1 October 2026.

In his role, Emanuele Moneghini is responsible for the Group Audit function and for coordinating the Group’s Internal Audit functions, with the objective of assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control system and other components of the governance framework.

Emanuele first joined Generali in 2005, where he held different roles with increasing responsibilities. In 2015, he was appointed Head of Internal Audit Austria, Central Eastern Europe & Russia, and in 2021 he assumed the role of Group Head of GHO & Thematic Audit, with responsibility for assurance activities covering the business, finance and governance areas at the Group Head Office.
