Social Impact Report 2025

The 2025 Social Impact Report of The Human Safety Net provides a detailed picture of our movement’s impact since its inception in 2017, highlighting the progress made and milestones achieved during the past year.

This report takes you on a journey through who we are, what we do, and the positive change we help catalyze around the world.

The Human Safety Net’s mission is rooted in supporting families with young children (ages 0–6) living in vulnerable circumstances and empowering refugees through employment and entrepreneurship. We are proud to be a growing, open network of like-minded NGOs and social enterprises united by the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

In 2025, we reached over half a million beneficiaries and expanded the number of partner organisations to 98 across 25 countries, with significant initiatives across Asia.

In Asia, our programmes have reached both caregivers and their children, providing guidance on education and early childhood development. For example, in Vietnam, The Early Journey of Life Programme supports caregivers of children aged 0–3 through structured, community run educational sessions integrated into national immunization and nutrition services. Our Financial Education initiative has expanded to 14 countries and reached 9,900 individuals, including in Malaysia and Indonesia, to make better financial decisions.

Our commitment to thorough monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) ensures that we not only track our impact but also share valuable insights and best practices across our network, nurturing a culture of continuous learning and growth. We invite you to explore this report and discover the people, partnerships, and progress that made 2025 a year of empowerment for people’s lives and dreams. Together, we are building a brighter future for all.
