Generali Malaysia launches Gen Sinar to empower underserved families

Generali Malaysia in partnership with Amanah Raya Berhad, Malaysia’s only Public Trustee, launched Gen Sinar, an affordable personal accident insurance plan designed to empower underserved families with financial protection. The plan aims to ensure continuity of children’s education in the event of accidental death or permanent disability of the breadwinner.

As the first general insurer to collaborate with Amanah Raya Berhad, Generali Malaysia is reinforcing its commitment to financial inclusion and meaningful social impact. Amanah Raya Berhad will serve as the Trustee for all education benefits under Gen Sinar, helping to ensure that funds reach beneficiaries responsibly and effectively.

Held at Kompleks Komuniti Muhibbah, the launch event was attended by representatives from Amanah Raya, the Embassy of Italy in Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia, PIAM, UNDP partners, non-governmental organisations, community leaders, members of the media and local residents. Developed from real community insights and aligned with The Human Safety Net, Gen Sinar reflects Generali Malaysia’s commitment to financial inclusion, educational continuity and building more resilient communities.
