The Human Safety Net (THSN) Global Challenge 2026 saw Generali’s business units in Asia strongly contribute to raise funds to make a meaningful difference in their local communities.

Generali Indonesia achieved its highest-ever fundraising result for THSN Global Challenge, raising more than IDR 1.75 billion (EUR 84,626) - a 40% increase from last year. Employees formed fundraising teams and launched their own creative campaigns - from cycling 170 kilometers to reduce carbon emissions, turning running milestones into donations, organizing Padel for Charity, creativity workshops, and charity bazaars. Generali Indonesia also launched its inaugural Generali Lion Heart Run 2026, a 5K charity run where 100% of ticket sales, sponsorship contributions, and event proceeds were donated to THSN.

Generali Malaysia held charity bazaars at its Menara Generali headquarters. The events featured food, crafts, and pre-loved items, with proceeds dedicated to supporting underserved families with young children. Through the generosity of participants and partners, Generali Malaysia raised RM302,029 (EUR 64,528) - exceeding its fundraising target of RM300,000.

Generali Thailand organized two fundraising activities: Dance for Children, a charity aerobic dance event, and a Food Market, both held at Park Silom to raise awareness of THSN and engage the public in supporting the cause. In addition, Generali customers were invited to redeem their GEN365 reward points as donations. All proceeds were donated to the local NGO partner, the Community Children Foundation. Together, these initiatives raised THB 240,901 (approximately EUR 6,300), supporting vulnerable children and families in local communities.

Generali Vietnam mobilized employees, Financial Advisors and customers across eight provinces and cities to raise funds in support of vulnerable children and families. Over the course of the campaign, participants collectively achieved more than 33 million steps and raised funds to bring "Play Days" to more communities across Vietnam and give children safe spaces to learn through play.

Generali India engaged employees from both Generali India entities through the STEPS Challenge. Together, participants raised more than EUR 2,000, which will be used to deliver "Fundays with Fathers", a programme aimed at fostering greater involvement of fathers in their children's development while increasing awareness of THSN's mission. The initiative will be implemented in partnership with the Pratham Education Foundation in the communities where Generali India operates.
