The Human Safety Net’s positive impact in Asia recognised at Asia Consumer Insurance Awards 2025

Generali’s The Human Safety Net (THSN) has won strong recognition through the “Best Social Impact Initiative Award” at the Asia Consumer Insurance Awards 2025 by (Re)in Asia, a leading business publication covering Asia’s insurance and reinsurance sectors. The Award recognises the ongoing expansion of THSN in Asia, having made a positive impact on early childhood development and family resilience.

THSN programmes continue to make a difference in each of Generali’s markets in the region. Since 2018 in Asia, THSN has been active across Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam. And the movement is growing.

In early 2025, THSN expanded its reach to Thailand, reaching over 580,000 children and caregivers in Asia through early childhood and family programmes.

Asia currently represents half of THSN’s global beneficiaries, with plans to expand this to 65% by 2027 and touch the lives of more people in local communities.
