Da Nang, July 21, 2025 – Generali has launched the Agency Builder Club to recognise managers who consistently recruit and activate new agents, with the aim of supporting continued growth in Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualifiers from Asia. At the 2025 Asia MDRT Convention held in Da Nang, Vietnam, Generali celebrated the achievements of its top performing agents in the region. The MDRT is a global, independent association of leading life insurance and financial services professionals, whose members receive industry recognition internationally for their excellence.
The Agency Builder Club supports the growth of Generali’s robust agency force across Asia. The initiative is an extension of the ROAR Club, a programme launched in 2023 to inspire, reward and support managers who build MDRT qualifiers in their teams.
Isabelle Conner, Chief Marketing & Customer Officer, Generali Group, said: “Asia is an important growth engine for Generali, and our agency force is at the forefront of our ambition to be the Lifetime Partner for our customers. The growth of our MDRT community represents this promise in action, with agents who are upholding Generali’s high standards of professionalism and driving excellence in the region.”
Rob Leonardi, Asia Regional Officer, Generali, added: “Our MDRT qualifying agents across our markets in Asia reflect the dedication and professionalism of our agency force as well as the dynamism of this important region, and we are proud of their achievements. Through new initiatives such as the Agency Builder Club, which builds on the success of the ROAR Club, we remain committed to empowering our agents with the tools, recognition and support they need to succeed.”
This year’s convention, held on 19 and 20 July 2025, brought together agents and managers from Generali’s markets in the region, and including China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Hong Kong SAR.
The event also featured The Human Safety Net (THSN) Donation Carnival for the first time, where agents and participants from Generali’s business units collectively raised funds to support local communities in Vietnam. Contributions from the event formed part of the total funds for The Global Challenge 2025, THSN’s largest fundraising effort to date which involved 25 markets and raised a record €775,521. The donations went towards providing children and their families in underserved areas with recreational and educational activities.
