Generali joins discussions shaping Asia’s Climate Transition and hosts event at Shanghai Climate Week 2026

Shanghai Climate Week 2026 provided an important platform that brought together governments, the private sector, academia and local financial institutions to demonstrate how partnerships can lead to positive impacts on the clean energy transition. Generali China Insurance partnered with New Energy Nexus (NEX) China to co-host the “Chinese Tech, Global Capital, Insuring a Greener Future Forum” during the week. 

The forum brought together senior Generali leaders, Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) members, new energy pioneers and green finance experts to explore practical ways to manage risks in the energy transition. Part of the discussions was a focus on how financial tools and inclusive finance frameworks can support energy storage and drive innovation in insurance.
