UNDP-Generali Insurance Innovation Challenge launches in Thailand to support innovative local solutions

Following the success of the UNDP-Generali Insurance Innovation Challenge in Malaysia, the project has now come to Thailand. The challenge aims to support inclusive, localised insurance solutions that improve the lives of workers at Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

MSMEs contribute over 35% of Thailand’s GDP and employ more than 70% of the country’s workforce, but workers are vulnerable to health risks and face a protection gap. As part of a long-term partnership with the UNDP, Generali is developing tools and co-creating solutions that help build MSME resilience and close the gap.

By identifying inclusive solutions tailored to the Thailand market, Generali is leveraging local expertise to make a positive impact on MSME workers.
