Generali highlights importance of Public Private Partnerships in closing protection gaps

Generali joined the Programme on Regulation and Supervision (PROGRES) 2025 event hosted by the Geneva Association in Singapore. The event brought together regulators, governments and delegates from the private sector to discuss areas such as disaster resilience and financial inclusion.

Rob Leonardi, Asia Regional Officer at Generali, was a keynote speaker at the event. He spoke on the importance of private-public partnerships and how Generali is working with both the industry and public sector partners to build resilience across Asia. 

No single player can tackle the scale of the insurance protection gaps in each market, and Generali is fostering collaboration to co-create solutions and reach underinsured communities.
