The Human Safety Net granted €1.5 million for project supporting holistic development of vietnamese children
Generali Vietnam has become the first country in Asia to launch The Human Safety Net Academy – an inspiring step forward to fulfill the mission of empowering communities and create lasting social impact. The official launch event brought together Generali Vietnam’s leadership, employees, and financial advisors, alongside passionate partners from UNICEF Vietnam and the Research and Training Centre for Community Development (RTCCD).
THSN Vietnam Academy will serve as a dedicated learning and engagement platform, equipping Generali volunteers with essential knowledge and skills to effectively support The Human Safety Net’s community initiatives across the country.
One such initiative is a launch workshop for the EM-THRIVE project. EM-THRIVE is an expansion of the “Early Journey of Life” model (a positive parenting educational program) being held across five provinces in Vietnam. The project is supported by funding by Generali Vietnam.
At the workshop, the Ministry of Health and relevant departments also expressed a strong commitment to jointly promoting the sustainable integration of positive parenting skills training into the regular activities of the health sector. This forms the foundation for scaling up the model nationwide in the next phase.
