Generali Malaysia Run 2025: Running for a healthier Future and a greater cause

The Generali Malaysia Run 2025 was successfully held at Dataran Wawasan, Putrajaya, drawing a vibrant crowd of over 10,000 runners. This year’s theme, “Step Up, Spark Change” highlighted Generali Malaysia’s strong commitment to wellness and community support.

Participants challenged themselves in three categories: 6km, 12km, and 21.1km, available in both physical and virtual formats to encourage broader participation.  Beyond promoting a healthy lifestyle, the runners also ran for a good cause and to support the local NGOs part of The Human Safety Net global movement.

In fact, 15% of registration fees and proceeds from add-on merchandise were donated to Suriana Welfare Society Malaysia and Yayasan Generasi Gemilang, supporting early childhood education initiatives.

Through the collective efforts of runners and supporters, the event successfully raised RM100,000 to support early childhood education programmes and provide learning tools for children and families in underserved communities. The virtual run continues until 11 June 2025, allowing participants to contribute at their own pace while receiving their entitlements upon submitting their results.
