Generali Real Estate, Christian Delaire is the new CEO

Milan – Christian Delaire will be the new CEO of Generali Real Estate starting from April 1, 2014.

The Group CIO of Generali, Nikhil Srinivasan, stated: “The arrival of Christian Delaire confirms the attention of Generali Group to the real estate as an important asset class. Thanks to his wide and  well-established experience in the field of asset management, along his significant financial background, Christian will contribute to the strengthening of Generali Real Estate leadership, which is today one of the most important players worldwide”.

Christian Delaire, 46, earned a degree in Business/Finance from the ESSEC Business School in Paris. After an experience in KPMG, in 1994 he entered the AXA Group, where he held the position of Global Chief Investment Officer in the Real Estate department from 2007 to 2009. In 2009 he then became the General Manager of the real estate company AEW Europe.

Generali Real Estate, leader in the Italian real estate sector and one of the main European players, operates in 11 countries with €28 billion worth of assets under management.
