BoD confirms Galateri as Chairman

Trieste – Meeting after today’s shareholders' meeting, the Board of Directors of Assicurazioni Generali confirmed Gabriele Galateri di Genola as Chairman of the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Appointments & Corporate Governance Committee and the Social & Environmental Sustainability Committee.

The Board of Directors also ascertained that the Chairman met the conditions of professionalism, good standing and independence required under current legislation for the insurance sector, and, given Mr Galateri’s position as a key officer of the company, the non-existence of the independence requirement pursuant to art. 3 of the Self-Regulatory Code of Listed Companies.
