Resignation of Ana Patricia Botin

Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. announces that Ana Patricia Botin has resigned today as a Director of the Company, due to her new appointments in the Santander Group, which have added to her existing difficulties in properly performing her duties as a Director of Generali.
Ana Patricia Botin was a non-executive independent Director, in compliance with the Code on financial intermediaries and the requirements of the Code of conduct of listed companies. Since 2010, she had been a member of the Generali Corporate Governance Committee.
