Fitch and AM Best affirmed Generali’s ratings and outlooks
The rating agencies Fitch and AM Best confirmed Assicurazioni Generali and its subsidiaries’ ratings and outlooks, in confirmation of the strong capital position and the strong operational performance of the Group.
In particular, Fitch affirmed Generali’s ratings at A- with Stable outlook, one notch higher than the sovereign rating of Italy, highlighting the capital position and the strong geographical diversification of the Group.
AM Best affirmed Generali’s ratings at A (Excellent) with outlook Stable, positively judging the business position, in particular in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the resilient operating performance of the Group and the improved capitalisation.
