On September 23, 2011 the Assicurazioni Generali General Council, chaired by Gabriele Galateri di
Genola, held its annual meeting , in Venice, at Ca’ Giustinian.
This year’s General Council was addressed by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, expert in financial math, Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of New York
University and at Oxford University.
The General Council is a high-level corporate advisory body formed to help Generali
optimise achievement of its social objectives, and its members include distinguished figures from the economic and scientific communities.
