Dividend 2011 payable as from May 24, 2012
The Shareholders' Meeting of April 28, 2012 resolved on the distribution of a
cash dividend per share of € 0.20.
Generali shares will trade ex-dividend as from May 21, 2012 (ex-date).
The dividend will be paid, net of the relevant withholding tax, as from May 24,
2012.
Dividend policy
The dividend per share resolved for 2011 is a full-cash dividend of € 0.20, (€. 0.45 per share for 2010). The total dividend on outstanding shares amounts
to € 310,6 million with a cash pay-out ratio of 36.4%, basically in line with
the Group’s historical levels, despite the financial crisis still under way.
